This is a joyous, celebration Happy Birthday song. I wrote this song for a friend who was turning 60 and throwing a birthday party for herself. We had both shared some dramatic, life-changing experiences over the past few years and were both looking to put it all behind us. On her birthday invitation, my friend requested that we all come dressed as gypsies. The party was a blast and we gypsies danced all night.

The song was also a blast recording. One of the performances that really stands out is by bouzouki jazz great, Thanos Sahnas, formerly of Turning Point. I had never even heard of a bouzouki until my co-producer, John Herrera, suggested we bring him in for this song, and I was blown away. His incredible musicality and virtuosity on this track takes the song up a whole ‘nother level. I was also able to intersperse some live footage of Thanos in the video from our 5/23 concert at the Nash, in Phoenix, AZ.
